School Board & Workshop Meeting Video Recordings
Below are various board meeting videos that have been recorded and provided by several people in the Freeland community. A handful of school board meetings, committee meetings, workshop meetings, and special board meetings can be found here:

Please note that community members and a board member have requested that all board meetings (including special meetings, committee meetings, and workshops) be recorded for public viewing. This request has not been granted. Recordings found on this page were taken by individual community members with their iPhones. Board meetings are recorded and available on YouTube for approximately two weeks. It has been requested that the recordings of board meetings remain on YouTube for a longer period of time for public viewing and that request has not been granted.
Not all community members are able to attend the meetings at the scheduled times. It is a reasonable request to ask that these meetings be recorded so that members of our community can be informed taxpayers and citizens. What is the reason that our school board and workshop meetings are not all publicly posted? The board and superintendent should be completely transparent about what they discuss. There are items they are discussing that are relevant for all of us to see and hear. This is our community not just theirs. If they care what we think and want our tax dollars, why do they not share the information?
Write into your board members and email or call the superintendent and request that these meetings be recorded and made public. Request transparency from our local school district.
